I don’t think my dad is ever going to understand what I am going through. 

I try to talk to him, and he has all these answers that he has from fucking nowhere, about every problem I have. 

He has all of the answers from some bullshit place. 

He always thinks he’s right, and always thinks I should have this operation, and do this, and do this. And Spend my life in fucking hospitals, like I haven’t already done that. 

And he tells me he had a hard enough time at 20, just with being a 20 year old guy and the problems that brings, and that he didn’t have MY problems, but he can see what I am going through. Quite clearly not. 

He has seen me go through a year in a wheelchair, have 2 operations, be in agony in post op for ten weeks, and physio for 4 months. He’s seen me back on my feet, and now he can see me degenerating again, he can see the operation I have had fading, and things are going back to how they used to be. 

And he is trying to force me into going to the hospital, to have the same thing done again, to have tests ran on me, MRIS, CT’s, A million more x rays, a brain scan, a brain biopsy, genetics tests. 

All of the shit that terrifies me

He lectures me on all of it, when he has no fucking idea how any of it feels. 

And I am so sick. 

And I just told him i feel like I’m done, and it’s all too much, and I wanted a break for a few months, no hospital appointments, I just want to life for a bit. 

And he just said, without thinking, like he always does. 

‘I’m not going to talk to you, if you’re going to talk shit’. 

And then he turns around and ignores me. 

And Angrily I say I’m going to bed, and he tells me not to fall out over it. 

For fuck sake.
